Happy Thanksgiving! I hope y’all are getting together with wonderful people to celebrate something most of us celebrate all year. But if we had to cook this much everyday I would no longer be Thankful.
I am Thankful for a loving husband, a fun and interesting job, a band that might actually be productive, the wonderful day with good friends and our new fence (just started).
I wanted to post photos of our awesome 2008 Thanksgiving Pinata, but wordpress seems to be unable to even get to the uploading screen! I will get them up, or on Facebook (inferior)
Has anyone seen the ads for Bud Light Lime? Who cares what’s in the ad, what I care about is how incredibly disgusting this sounds. Would it just taste like salty lime water? Nasty filth ladies and gentlemen, nasty filth.
Yes it’s true! We went to a bacon party on Saturday. It was pretty awesome. Of course everything had to have bacon but the event also featured a cheap beer tasting and challenge. I did a taste challenge between Hamm’s, PBR, and Olympia. I got the PBR right! Please be warned with the photos, that much bacon isn’t a pretty sight. Our friend taking the beer taste challenge.
Amazing shrimp wrapped in bacon with a sweet/sour/spicy miso sauce, dates stuffed with an almond and wrapped in bacon, Asparagas wrapped in bacon, one lone left bacon egg roll, and there are none left of the fantastic jalapano bacon poppers.Â
Sweet yellow cupcakes with bacon bits inside and a butter cream frosting. These were actually really good, that perfect combo of salty/sweet.
My man bbq’n up some oysters with a bacon cilantro butter sauce.
A savory bacon cake!  Two cornbread rounds with mix veggies frosted with mashed potatos, topped with a bacon lattace.Â
Bacon deviled eggs, a bacon dip, Applesauce oatmeal cookies with bacon, twice baked potato skins with bacon and some things already mentioned. Hamm’s
There were these Bacon band-aids I put one on my hat. I also tried a bacon-mint. Weird.
